In the Spring of 2023 Sony asked me again to help the produce graphics and branding for their annual Screenings event, and this time to push the color and concentric rings into a more physical manifestation; as lights, as Neon.
This required a lot of research to determine the best uses for neon for our particular project. I spent a fair amount of time looking through old film marquees, as well as many beautiful interiors of theatres through the 20th century. The previous year tied work back into color and film grain, this year was more about light and architecture and spaces. Old Hollywood. Creating a big and powerful setting to experience the big and moving story that is Cinema.
