For 2022 LA Screenings, Sony’s event came back to their lot, requiring a fresh take on graphics. Print work, in as far as a couple posters with color and type, had been designed, but everything in motion needed to be worked out.
The initial graphic implied a lot of fun motion, and possibilities. A full spectrum of possibilities, which I gladly spent my time exploring.
The use of the rainbow, and the fact that the product on offer at this show was TV and Film. also led me think that film and film grain as well as a logic to use color akin to how film burn works: as film is exposed, color doesn't go straight from black to white, in between there are tones of red and orange and yellow...
