Series of 5 drawings with ink and brush for a show at X17 gallery in early november in Seattle.

These drawings sort of build on and connect two separate ideas that appeared in sketchbooks of mine in the summer of 2008 and a drawing I made this last spring in Japan. Telling a short story about growing up. Or death. Or responsibility. Or inside jokes about privacy.

Worked with director Mike G on this spot during time at Roger.

These promos were created for a summer show on Cartoon Network during time at Nylon. Lead animation by David Lewandowski.

This is a short film I wrote designed and directed for Designers Against Human Rights Abuse.

The piece tries to highlight the fundamental flaw in the logic of revenge and reprisal that most conflicts stem from. Most conflicts in the world are perpetuated by peoples needs to punish those who hurt them and ultimately only hurt more innocent people and extending the conflict.

There is no simple solution, but I strongly believe that actively seeking peace and rejecting violence is the place to start.

Illustrated this holiday card for Nylon at the end of the year.

My idea was to try and show some pride in working from downtown LA, and put the whole city and a couple surrounding landmarks resting on and around the logotype, filling it’s negative spaces.
